The past comes back to haunt Ricky (aka Nathaniel) and his friends in York's latest novel, Nathaniel's Last Move. The group has been through a lot together over the years, from the good times to the bad, the highs to the lows. They have formed a blended family of friends, regardless of their sexual orientation or age. Now, forty years after the fact, the three original members of the Midnight Movers face possible repercussions from their past crimes. With time running out, they enlist the help of their chosen family to come up with a plan. The friends must cross boundaries and deal with the consequences of their youthful escapades.
